The shop and the scope

Out of Palo Alto, CA, Tall Tree Lock & Safe Palo Alto works Palo Alto, Stanford & the towns beside them. This policy covers talltreelocksmithpaloalto.com, the calls it produces and the job records behind them. We are independent: the phone goes to our own dispatch and no leads are bought or sold.

What the quiz asks for

A name, a phone number, the neighbourhood, an optional email if you want the figure in writing, and your description of the lock, door or safe. It is the only form on the site — no account, no newsletter, no chat widget.

Safe and strongbox work

Opening or servicing a safe means we learn something sensitive: make, model, where it stands, sometimes the combination we set. Those details live with that job, are never used for anything else, and are dropped when the job closes. We do not keep a register of safes in the area.

What the visit itself leaves

The page a request came from and any campaign tag in its link are filed with the job. Routine server logs sit with the host, kept for uptime and for security. Neither builds a profile of a visitor.

The telephone line

(650) 252-1604, a Twilio tracking number, forwards straight through to dispatch. The carrier logs the calling number, the time and the length of the call; the conversation is not recorded. That log is how a dropped call gets returned.

Booking through Nexfield

The booking button hands you to nexfield.pro, our scheduler, where the name, number, address and slot you enter are covered by Nexfield's own terms before reaching us as a job. The phone books the same appointments.

Counting visits, setting no cookies

PostHog runs here in cookieless mode, so nothing is stored on your device and no consent banner appears. Session replay off, automatic click capture off, four events counted: page opened, phone tapped, booking tapped, quiz submitted.

Block us-assets.i.posthog.com and the counting stops without affecting the site. You will find no advertising pixels and no retargeting tags here.

Contact about your job

Your number is used to confirm the price and window, to name the technician and to warn you the van is close. Service messages only; no campaigns to past customers. The usual carrier charges apply and STOP cancels further texts.

Who else is involved

The phone carrier; Nexfield; our dispatch; and, for card payments, the processor behind the terminal. That is all of them.

Nothing is sold, rented, traded or passed to another locksmith or contractor.

Retention and erasure

Job records last while the warranty is live and while tax and lien rules require them; combinations and key codes are kept only while the job is open. Both requests go to info@talltreelocksmithpaloalto.com.

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, California residents may require disclosure, deletion and confirmation that nothing was sold or shared. Same address or (650) 252-1604, with no effect on the service you receive.

Children

This site is for owners, tenants and drivers rather than children, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.

Changes

The text is rewritten when the facts move and the date below moves with it. Earlier versions are not archived here.
