Terms of Service

The figure is agreed on the phone before dispatch and includes the $89 service call. Nothing is added once the technician is standing there. Work you add on site is quoted separately and started only once you accept the addition.

Published ranges describe typical jobs. Evening attendance adds +$55 and overnight +$90; both are already inside the quoted total.

Doors, vehicles and safes are opened only for someone entitled to them — identification with the address, a lease, registration papers, probate or purchase documents for a safe, or an owner confirming. Where the right cannot reasonably be shown, we decline the work.

Manipulation is attempted before any drilling. Where a safe must be drilled, you are told what will be damaged, what the repair or replacement costs, and the work begins only on your word. Combinations we set are handed to you and not retained after the job closes.

Labour carries a 90-day warranty from the visit; hardware and safe components are covered by their manufacturers. Misuse, later forced entry and alterations by others fall outside.

Payment is due on completion, taken by card or contactless, with an itemised invoice sent by email. A cancellation once a technician has arrived carries the fee quoted at booking.

To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the amount paid for that job, and liability that cannot be limited by law is unaffected.

These terms are subject to CA law, with disputes heard by the courts serving Palo Alto.
